London last visit

Today we've visited London again. First of all, we went to Trafalgar Square, and we visited a small part of the National Gallery which is there. After that we went to Buckingham Palace, where we saw the changing of the guard. Then, we went to the House of Parliament through the beautiful Sant James's Park. We made some photos with the telephone cabins and then we received the information about the parliament, the Big Ben, and the Westminster Abbey.

Finally, we took the subway to go to the Tower of London and to Tower bridge, and
before going back to Leighton Buzzard we made a little stop at King's Cross to visit the platform 9 3/4. In the evening we went to Adam's house to spend some time all together.

Firstly, a teacher told English students about a "challenge activity" that they are going to do this summer and we got a tour of the high school. Then we went to a Spanish class with our partners and we ate scones and they offered us an afternoon tea. After that we had some presentations about English life and we had lunch later. Lastly we went to different classes, like biology.
Also our teachers gave Rob, the spanish teacher, a present.

Visit to Oxford

After a long trip by bus, we finally arrived in Oxford. First, Rob took us around the different buildings and libraries of the University of Oxford. He explained how the Oxford and Cambridge university system works and his experience as an Oxford Student. Then he told us that there's not an Oxford university as such, but just little colleges that work together in some things. Rob studied in Trinity College, in particular, so we went there and a third year medicine student told us what the University life is like and the different things you can do there apart from studying, like rowing for example. After that, we had some free time to shop and walk before going back with our host families.
